The constellation Orion passes over Pinnacle Ridge (~3000 feet ASL) on the South Fork of the Tye River looking southward. This timelapse is 360 frames that took over 3.5 hours to capture. A cold front had turned a somewhat warm day, cool. The gloomy afternoon seemed to change, as I noticed a cloud break southwest over the Pamlico Sound. I set my tripod low at the end of the dock with the Genie Mini tracking the Sun. A couple of small craft rolled in from the day and as the Sun set up its finale, the Swan Quarter ferry rolled into the harbor. The once silver harbor turned copper....

This time lapse was taken two mornings before the 2017 Solar Eclipse. The last quarter's crescent Moon was rising less than a half hour before sunrise and the cool clear morning allowed for a nice transit across my lens while waiting for sunrise. Using #ML, this is 300 frames finished in Lightroom and brought into LRTimelapse .

This was the Pink Moon (first Full Moon of Spring) rising over the Wolfsnare Creek leading to Broad Bay which is a tributary of the Lynnhaven River in Virginia Beach. As the Moon rose over the Atlantic Ocean, past the treeline, the moist warm air caused a lens effect; enlarging the appearance of the Moon. On October 5, 2016, my wife and I hiked to The Channels via State Route 80. The moderate hike was well worth the effort to witness unique rock formations atop a mountain and have a great view of the neighboring mountains and valleys. The photos and video were capture with a Samsung Galaxy 6, photos edited in Lightroom, and the video was made with Adobe Premiere Clip.

I remember watching this race on TV. Nobody else on that track could have done what Dale did coming thru the pack like that. I was rooting for him that day and he didn't let down. That was his last victory before he passed away and I'll never forget it. Thanks for the memories Dale. You are the king of NASCAR.

Ironically there are less corporations investing in the sport now than there was back then. Terrible leadership and gimmick points formats are why the sport lost it's way at the end of the day.
